Uno de mis estudiantes me ha recomendado la nueva serie Ángela, disponible en Netflix, y me ha parecido buena idea compartirla con todos ustedes. La historia gira en torno a una mujer que, detrás de una vida aparentemente estable y feliz, enfrenta una situación complicada dentro de su propio hogar. A lo largo de la serie se muestra cómo intenta recuperar el control de su vida y tomar decisiones difíciles para poder salir adelante. Es una producción española reciente, con solo seis episodios, y trata un tema muy actual sobre las relaciones y la fuerza personal necesaria para cambiar las cosas. Si alguno de ustedes ha visto algo interesante o cree que merece ser recomendado, no duden en decírmelo para que pueda compartirlo también con el resto del grupo.

One of my students recommended the new Netflix series Ángela, and I thought it would be nice to share it with all of you. The story follows a woman who, behind what seems like a stable and happy life, faces a complicated situation within her own home. Throughout the series, we see how she tries to regain control of her life and make difficult decisions in order to move forward. It’s a recent Spanish production with only six episodes, and it deals with a very current theme about relationships and the personal strength needed to change one’s circumstances.
